Taller de Español Inclusivo

Este taller sobre el uso y la enseñanza del español inclusivo está diseñado para docentes, familias y comunidades que tienen un interés de incorporar el lenguaje inclusivo en sus comunidades. Al finalizar el taller, cada participante tendrá un conocimiento más amplio sobre cómo el lenguaje inclusivo genera un espacio educativo donde las personas no binarias y las personas que se identifican con el género femenino se sienten positivamente representadas en su comunidad. Les participantes aprenderán sobre los componentes gramaticales del lenguaje inclusivo y tendrán los recursos pedagógicos necesarios para promover la inclusión en sus comunidades. El taller también le dará a cada participante las estrategias necesarias para tener conversaciones con personas que demuestren resistencia hacia el lenguaje inclusivo.

Gender Inclusive Spanish Training

This workshop on Gender Inclusive Spanish is designed for teachers, families, and community members who are interested in incorporating inclusive language in their communities. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a broader understanding of how inclusive language creates an educational space where non-binary and female-identifying individuals feel positively represented. Participants will learn about the grammatical components of gender-inclusive Spanish and will have the necessary pedagogical resources to promote inclusion in their communities. The workshop will also provide participants with the necessary strategies to have restorative conversations with individuals that might be resistant to gender-inclusive language.
