In the spirit of National Coming Out Month, the San Francisco State University AS Art Gallery invites you as we give space to local Bay Area Artists in an online discussion panel where we will talk about how the creative practice of Sam Vernon, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and Fiera Ferrari has been a vehicle for them to embrace their Queer identity.

In this online discussion we discussed restorative justice and mural painting with Chief Justice of the Yurok Tribe Abby Abinanti and artist Claudia Bernardi. During our conversation, we focused on the important role that art plays when creating spaces for healing and social justice.

Join us as four female artists share their stories and describe the ways in which their art and identity intersect.
